GV License Manager
GV license manager is a Grass Valley program that is often used in the management of software such as Mync and EDIUS licenses. One advantage of the GV license manager is that it works well with software that is already installed. You do not need to uninstall it. After installing the GV license manager, you should note that an administrator password is needed for several critical operations. This includes processes such as license deactivation, which can only be done by an admin using the GV license manager password. This function is used often for corporate customers that use GV products.
However, for personal users, the password isn't a must. Also note that for the GV License Manager to be executed, EDIUS installation should be completed to allow for the execution of functions such as moving software licenses between online environments, activating licenses, and offline deactivation of licenses, among many other functions.

If the SIMetrix-SIMPLIS network license manager does not start correctly or does start correctly but does not check out licenses, then the most likely cause is that a firewall is blocking communication to it.
The license manager requires configuring because in its default setup, it uses default TCP ports that change when restarted. It is necessary therefore to tell the license manager to use fixed ports. These ports can then be opened in the firewall.
We know at least one firewall that, in its default configuration, does not include the IP address 127.0.0.1 as part of the local area network. This IP address is known as the loopback address or localhost and is used for local IP communication - that is not only is it within the local area network but is in fact within the local machine. The license manager uses this IP address for local inter-process communication and if this is blocked it won't start correctly.
If you find that you need to give the license manager processes access to the wider Internet even for use on the local machine, then it is likely that it is blocking the loopback address. We strongly recommend that you configure your firewall to classify 127.0.0.1 as a local IP address as opening the license manager processes to the wider Internet represents a security risk.
This document describes how account-level and reseller administrators can use the Enterprise License Manager API to manage users license assignments. Once your account's product SKU licenses have been enabled and your users have been created, use the Enterprise License Manager API to assign, update, retrieve, and delete licenses for your account's users.
Note: The Enterprise License Manager API is used by a Google customer. For information about how Google third-party application developers manage licenses, see the Google Workspace Marketplace API.
Previous to this operation, the customer or reseller has ordered Google product licenses and has created the user. To assign one of these product licenses to this user, use the following POST HTTP request. Include the Authorization header as described in Authorizing requests. For product and SKU IDs, see the API's available Products and SKUs:
Note: A user can be assigned licenses for a wide range of different Google products. But a user is assigned only one SKU license per product at a time. By using the API, a user's SKU license can be reassigned to a different SKU license within the product.
To reassign a user's license to a new license SKU within the same product, use the following PUT HTTP request. The API also supports the patch syntax. Include the Authorization header as described in Authorizing requests. For product and SKU IDs, see the API's available Products and SKUs:
To get all user licenses for a specific product, use the following GET HTTP request. Include the Authorization header as described in Authorizing requests. The customerId query string is the customer's primary domain name. The maxResults query string determines how many user license entries are returned in the API's response:
To get a list of all users with licenses for a specific product SKU, use the following GET HTTP request. Include the Authorization header as described in Authorizing requests. The customerId query string is the customer's primary domain name. The maxResults query string determines how many user entries are returned in the API's response:
For product and SKU IDs, see the API's available Products and SKUsThis example returns the first page of all users in the example.com domain assigned a license for the Google-Drive-storage-200GB SKU. The response lists two user entries per page:
To get a specific user's license by product SKU, use the following GET HTTP request. Include the Authorization header as described in Authorizing requests. For product and SKU IDs, see the API's available Products and SKUs:
If the user has this license, it is a successful response and a 200 HTTP status code. For possible error codes, see the API's Error codes. If successful, the response returns the user's license in JSON format.
To unassign a license from a user, use the following DELETE HTTP request. Include the Authorization header as described in Authorizing requests. For product and SKU IDs, see the API's available Products and SKUs:

GeoVision's License Plate Recognition is an effective and low-maintenance solution to ensure the security of parking lots, which are prone to crimes due to isolated and unstaffed corners. In addition to providing high-resolution video monitoring and recording, the LPR solution detects and recognizes vehicle license plates upon motion or I/O trigger.
A GV-LPR1200, GV-DSP LPR, GV-DVR LPR or GV-VMS LPR recognizes license plates detected in the video source, and sends the LPR results to GV-ASManager. Access can be granted when the detected license plate numbers match the vehicle registered in GV-ASManager's database. Alarm notifications and playing back LPR results are also supported.

Log in to the ULS License Manager with your FCC registration number (FRN) and CORES password to view and manage your licenses and applications. The sections of this document contain help for common issues related to logins and FRNs.
An FRN, or FCC registration number, is a 10-digit number that is assigned to all businesses and individuals conducting business with the FCC. The FCC will use the FRN to determine if all of a registrant's fees have been paid. You must register with the Commission prior to filing applications in ULS License Manager. You may already haven an FRN. Most ULS and ASR users that had existing licenses and were registered in the ULS TIN Registration database prior to December 3, 2001, were issued an FRN automatically. Search by your call sign in ULS License Search. Your FRN will appear on the License Search results page.
You must have an FCC Registration Number (FRN) to transact business with the FCC, including filing applications online with ULS. Most ULS and ASR users registered in the ULS TIN Registration database, prior to December 3, 2001, who had existing licenses were automatically assigned an FRN by ULS. As a result, you may have already received one or more FRNs. At the time of the conversion, each TIN/SGIN combination received a corresponding, separate FRN. 2ff7e9595c
